on some purchases you may get instant cashback instead of having to wait 60 days (there is no discernible pattern as to why some purchases get this treatment). it will show up immediately in your paypal account. you still need to search for an item on live.com, click the ebay cashback link, have a live cashback account and pay for your purchase with paypal. i just bought something and $20 showed up in my paypal account immediately.

I used this deal a few days ago to buy 4 tires for my truck from Discount Tire Direct's eBay store. I saved $200 and got free shipping as well. All in all, I got almost 30% (max of $200) off from the live.com deal, 5% off from DTD on ebay, and free shipping for 4 70 pound tires.

i wanted to get in on that tire deal but they didn't have my sizes. i've got a script that checks the cashback % every half hour and notifies me of the change. it was briefly 25% yesterday before dropping to 20%. i'll post again when it's back to 30%. it's always nice to have microsoft to pay us instead of the other way around

Find a buyer ahead of time, find someone to finance it. Take the 8%, flip the car, pocket the cash back. Not a bad way to make 80 grand in a couple days.
