Guys while browsing Lowes yesterday I seen quad shield RG6.I read the label but it gave no info whether it was pure copper or copper clad.Anyone know?It would save on shipping if I could get my cat 5e and coax there.Thanks.
The 1000' reel I got from them was copper center with alum shields. Been using it for about 4 years without problems. I even have about 250' that is buried and no problem with those runs either.

You probably should check with a magnet and make sure it's not copper clad steel. They could of changed suppliers or manufacturing process in the time since Kyham got his.
