More than 2 data lines: more than 2 terminations?

There's a few ways the bus can be accomplished on a M1 with the main variable being the number of conductors being installed and the topology. Cat X seems to be what most tend to run when pulling KP cable instead of multi-conductor cables (I don't use Cat X for a bunch of personal design criteria) But also keep in mind you're limited to 4K' end to end on the bus, so each CatX that is run is going to eat a lot of that up. May not affect your install, but on a larger install with outbuilding(s) it's a design criteria.

That said, I'm not a huge fan of the DBH's for a bunch of reasons, but that's mainly due to working on systems day in and out.

A DBHR will allow multiple branches to be installed and only requires 4 conductors at each KP. You do need to pay attention to the physical layout and terminating jumpers as you land the cable, but it's an easy way to go.

The other way is to run enough conductors out to the KP (at least 6) and then physically daisy the data cables inside the panel OR run a daisy topology in the field paying attention to the power requirements as you drop along the daisy.
