I've searched Google & this site among others looking for the software to get my touchscreen LCD monitor up and running.
Picked up this fabulously expensive GE Medical Systems 18 in. unit on "the Bay" for a very reasonable bid.
It has an RS-232 style 9 pin out with a graphic label for the touch screen out.
How would I know whether it's resistive or capacitive grid? I've got a serial port cable and have it hooked up to the PC. Now I need drivers to make it work.
I sent a message to GE Health Care tech support, but have had no reply.
Back Label:
GE Medical Equipment, Milwaukee, WI - Model CDL1811A MEDICAL DEVICE
Made in Japan Dec. 2004
Front frame has :CDA 18T
PC is WinXP OS has 1 Serial port as well as USB
TIA,
