Need help with wiring for GE z-wave switch.

I have wired a few of these before, but have never run into this. There is a 3-way switch beside it and the common are looped together plus the neutral bundle has a black wire in it. The neutral that is in the zwave switch now came from that bundle just to try. But it isn't working. Should I just pigtail the neutral bundle to the zwave?

Thanks!

None of those white wires may be neutrals. Both switches may be wired as a switch loop. Use a multimeter to test each wire. Where were those 3 wires originally on the switch you removed?

Edited: The only wires that were on the previous switch where the 2 black ones. The white was with the other bundled whites.

What exactly am I testing for?

Ah ok. Well most likely you need to put that white back in the bundle and add another pigtail from the white bundle to neutral on the z-wave switch.

Ok, I will have to get some wire to extended it and the ground. Thanks for the help. Will update post when I try.
