Well, work is getting super-tense and has me wound up again. Yesterday's class was a great stress release for me but I'm predicting I'll need another one in a few weeks. So, let's have another webinar!

This class to explore in some detail about how to make CQC do stuff, either by building interfaces and doing things manually, or via the back-end events engine. The Variables Driver will also be covered as it's core to glueing them both together.

The class will be from 8:30am->10:45am. Times are a best-guess, it could vary as this is only the 2nd "real" time i'll have done this.
8:30am- 8:45am. Introductions, grounding basic concepts.
8:45am- 9:45am: Building Interfaces
9:45am-10:00am: Variables Driver
10:00am-10:30am: Events Engine
10:30am-10:45am: Contingency in case we run late.

This presumes you've seen the Intro to HA 101 webinar, or are familiar with the basic CQC concepts and what programs do what. For the Automated Events, you should be familiar with drivers and the basics of Interface Building. Don't gotta be a pro, but it's easier to explain if I don't have to go over the basics.

This link will have the latest version of the collateral. I'm still making some adjustments here/there as I got some good feedback the last run.

Here's the recording link. I noticed an odd low buzzing noise in the recording, must have been a little interference on the mic line. Sorry about that, but it's not that noticeable.

Here's the PDF that was used randomly throughout. It was probably 75% live tutorial, 25% PDF, but this way you have an easier reference sheet than the whole dang 115MB recording.

I'll take another recording when we do this again; i'd imagine it would be late April/early May to garner enough interest to make it worthwhile. Ping me if interested and you haven't seen something.

how irritating is the buzzing in the recording? Livable or not?
Until I get the two hours to view it I only watched about two minutes. The buzzing was far less objectionable than the speakers voice, gotcha. Thanks for doing another one of these.
