Haiku Passcode Requirement for Security Disarm?

I have a simple question before purchasing Haiku. Does it require a HAI passcode to disarm the security system? Also, is there an option to bypass the passcode requirement (i.e. rely on the device passcode instead.)

I'm currently using the H@ME app and it can either prompt for the HAI passcode each time the app is launched, or there is an option store the HAI passcode permanently.

Thanks for your help.

It requires a password to arm or disarm the system. There is no way to shut that off that I see.

Could it be done with a "Button" that arms or disarms?

Anyway I won't reccomend that for obvious security reasons. Why would you wnat to do that? You can access Haiku without password, it is required just to arm or disarm the system.

Because if the iOS device itself has a passcode, there is no reason to enter codes twice. The new Apple apps on iOS 6 (Find iPhone, Find Friends, etc.) remember passwords and don't require re-entry with each use - but only if a device passcode is enabled. I'm not sure if this hook is available to third party developers or is undocumented and for use by only Apple.

Yes
If you have a button that programmatically arms or disarms the system, no code is needed.
I use them to arm but would never have a disarm action that didn't require the code.

This is one of the last two issues with Haiku for me, along with messages beeping when sent with no beep when they where sent while haiku was not running.

If you have a pass code on IOS then another in Haiku is pointless, this should be an option to disable. I miss this feature from H@me.
