PC Access Button Status

I have created buttons to control each Zone of my Irrigation system (Flower Garden ON, Flower Garden OFF, etc...)
It works great for what I need but there has been a few times when I forgot which zone I turned on or off.
Is there a way to determine which button or zone is in what state.
 
The Irrigation is controlled by an 8 Port relay board connected to the outputs on my OP-II.

Can't you just look at the outputs to see which one is on?
