Haiku Problem with connectivity with iPhone

I use 2 iPads and an iPhone to access my HAI through Haiku.  All of the sudden, my iPhone is unable to establish a connection to the controller while my 2 ipads have no problem at all.  I have tried a hard reset of my iPhone and the haiku app.  Does anyone else have any suggestions or ideas on what might be going on here?  I see a "Waiting for controller to become reachable" and then repeatedly find myself on the connection failed screen.

Thanks

If your in your house you need to turn on the Wi-Fi on your iPhone.  You likely don't have it setup for outside access.

I do have it set up for outside access, but my iPhone doesn't work even if I am on my wifi network at home (while my iPad still does).  I will check to make sure the settings on my iPad match the settings on my iPhone when I get home.  Not sure how they could have been altered though, I've never messed with them before.

For outside access you need a fixed IP address (or an IP service to track a changing IP) and port forwarding in your router.  If it doesn't work in your home with Wi-Fi, your settings might be wrong.

Similar issues here...except with push notifications.  iPads all work on WiFi anywhere.  iPhone5 no longer gets the push notifications, but will connect to the controller.  I have checked all application settings between devices and don't see any discrepancies.  Not sure if there is anything under the iPhone settings that needs adjustment, but I am not a guru when it comes to iOS settings.

Not only that, some oddities like weather at the top only working from certain controllers(which used to work all the time).  iOS and apps have all been updated to the latest releases.
My biggest issue is that all of these were working at one point, and for one reason or another stopped.  Background on this is there are two separate panels, one in the main house and one in an outbuilding.

any input would be appreciated.

Make sure you have push notifications enabled in Haiku by going to the Status tab, tapping the top left book icon, Edit, then your controller. Check to make sure Push Notifications is set to ON. Then also make sure the name of the controller is *EXACTLY* the same on both your iOS device and in HaikuHelper.

Weather not working intermittently is possible, the service we are using has been doing an upgrade lately and it may be down sometimes. Check to make sure the Weather Location is set correctly in Status > Top left book icon > Edit > Your controller.
