Setting text on keypad no longer working

Did the recent 5.1.8 main board firmware break the "dm - Display Message On Keypad Command"?

I had this working fine and when I recently went back to test it, my keypads don't change at all.

Here is what I am sending:

"2Edm11000000Genesis^ 7. Hold on My He00EE" followed by cr/lf


Even the sample from the documentation doesn't work now:

"2Edm11100020abc^efghijklmnopABCDEF^HIJKLMNOP00B2" followed by cr/lf


I'm not 100% sure that this started when I upgraded the firmware but it was around that time. I also upgraded the ethernet module and maybe keypad firmware as well.

Other serial commands work fine for me.

I tried to report this same issue, but it didn't get very far: http://www.cocoontech.com/index.php?showtopic=10371

I ended up pading the text with spaces and just removed the line terminator "^".

Thanks for the response. Elk is usually pretty good at addressing these types of issues... or changing the documentation.
