Signalinc question....

What is the added benefit of the Signalinc module? Is it required for insteon functionality, or can I just use my x-10 ir543 module? I noticed on the smarthome website that two modules are needed to set up the network.....just wanted to make sure before I order. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you need them to couple that phases so that the divices can talk to each other in your house.

We have a few different "Signalinc" models.

Be sure to order SignaLinc RFs (sku 2442) as this is the correct sku for INSTEON.

When Insteon wireless remotes and detectors come out, I understand that they (the RF SignaLincs) will be the RF receivers.
