Sprinkler and ELK-924 problem

I'm trying to run a single zone sprinkler using a Elk-924 relay and have it wired like the diagram on page 11
of the Elk manual. The only difference is N/C is wired to N/O.I've clipped the relay for 24V.Created a rule to
activate Output 7 for 10 minutes when F2 is pressed on keypad. When I press the F2 key the Led will light for
10 minutes but will NOT activate the sprinkler! What am I missing ? Thanks

PS The solenoid and sprinkler work manually.

So when the rule is triggered and the LED comes on, does the relay engage? I know you said the sprinkler does not come on but is the relay even switching? If the relay is indeed switching then there is an issue on the valve side, but I am going to guess the relay is not switching and because you cut the 24v jumper. Don't confuse 24v trigger with your 24v power supply on the output of the relay. I think you cut the jumper so the relay is wanting 24v to trigger. I think if you put the jumper back it will work.

I'm not close enough to the relay to hear the relay trigger.Guess I misunderstood the function of the relay
and just used the example from page 11 of the manual where they used a door strike as an example.I'll try
your suggestion. Thanks. Hope I can get that wire soldered back on!
