My jbl in ceiling have a soundproof housing so they can be in the ceiling of the first floor which is directly below my kid's bed, and you cannot hear a thing in their room! That alone was not something I considered initially but turned out to be the best feature!
Those speakers can be used with 70V distribution systems (usually commercial applications for many zpeakers on a single loop), or more conventionally. Very flexible, good item for a dealer to keep in stock.
Has anyone heard the JBL 47CT and comment on it? When researching the 26CT, someone mentioned they were good but that the 47CT was an even nicer upgrade. Thanks.
Makes sense because mine were from 8 years ago so they probably have upgraded. Just make sure they have the sealed back if isolation of sound is important. At the time I could have gone with the Bose speakers but the av guy is a friend of mine and he said the JBLs sounded better. If you go jbl I don't think you will be disappointed.
