temp/humidity/solar ds18s20

Hey,

I bought a temp/humidity/solar (which appears to work great btw) and using owfs when i try and check the temperature on the ds18s20 it always reads 85. Any clue why that might be?

What is owfs? Have you tried the iButton viewer to see what it reports? What computer interface are you using?

I'm using the 6 channel master powered hub (from hobby boards of course).

I tried the one-wire viewer java application and it seems to read the temperature ok. Does anyone have experience with owfs?

You don't have to *do* anything do you? Just read the temperature no?

It seems owfs may have trouble reading temperature on ds2409 channels.

Looks like owfs may have improved it's handling of the ds2409, i can now read my ds18s20's from behind the 6 port master hub with the latest daily of owfs.

That's good to know. I have had a couple of other users run into this same problem.
