Not surprising. It's a differentiator. AFAIK, HASS is the only only 3rd party platform that is a complete Matter system. E.g. You can't enroll a Matter device to Hubitat without having a Samsung/Apple/Google/Amazon controller enroll it first and then put it in pairing mode.

Given how Amazon is pulling back on all smart home and Google's focusing on winning the LLM/search war, and that Apple has already got 95% of what they want from Matter by providing a supply of low cost commodity smart home devices, it's hard to guess how much motion we're going to see on the Matter front.

Which is sad in a lot of ways. I expected there to be conflicts between the four 800lb gorillas, but the external market forces have become a bigger wild card than I ever would have thought.
