Visual Studio 2005 is out of beta

I just got an e-mail from MS saying the VS 2005 is out of beta and ready to go. This is pretty cool news. I just hope I can score a copy

It's not being released until November 7th. I looked into it, it is out of beta and is now a release candidate (but not formally released).

This Release Candidate of Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite offers significant enhancements and greater quality over previous Beta releases. This software is unsupported pre-release software and upgrading to or from this RC is not supported.
