Which software?

Also, I wanted to used a wireless sensor on my washer and dryer so I could tell when they are done with their cycles. Any ideas for this? I presume this would be script intensive?

Do those guys provide some sort of interface? Otherwise, would you use some sort of motion sensor or something?

Is that part of the house you'd want to monitor?

Not sure if the audio part of this is possible, but here's a thought: Rather than going through the hassle of motion sensors, you could just put a camera with a mic up in that location, get a card and s/w where you can see them via a web browser, and use a CQC web browser widget to pull it up and see if it's done or not.

Obvious side benefit of doing more than monitoring washer, but monitoring that room. My washer is 8' away from my media closet, near window, so I'd get security mileage out of doing that.

There seems to be some linking problems with the thumbnail house images (image doesn't match thumbnail):

I also agree, nice screen shots. I especially like the "template".
Yeah I noticed that the other day...I quickly made the template for the house images with Thumbsplus and something screwed up..I'll fix it when I add the next set of pictures of the house build.

**Everything you see for touchscreen screenshots will be available for download at the CQC forums within the week for anybody to use, likely my layouts will change 50 times before I actually get into my home and have everything set up and working :-)

I also try to include blanks buttons with everything I release so anybody can take my templates and customize for their own use.

You don't want to know how much instability I drive into my HA/HTPC because I change it 50 times *after* I get it working.

Many ways to do this. Look at the following How-To's:

I also hacked my dryer by replacing its buzzer with a 120 volt AC coil relay and monitor those contacts.
