Wireless GPS- Any one using one?

Guys,
I (think) I want a wireless GPS receiver to use with my new laptop. Do any of you guys use one? How long does the battery hold up? Do they come with mobile chargers? I like the looks of this one. Earthmate GPS Blue Logger.

I had one of the older 'wired' types . . . could never find a cable long enough to hook it up though (a little over 66 million feet) . . . :lol:

This line causes some concern:

• Battery Life: 8 hours (charge up to 500 times)

What happens after the 500th charge? Do you just throw it away? I didn't see where it had removable batteries.

They sell replacement batteries so they must be replaceable.

I've been using this Bluetooth unit with my pocket PC for a couple years.

The battery life is amazing, and it recharges quickly. It uses a cell phone battery, so it should be easy to find a replacement when it finally dies. I highly recomend a wireless unit to keep the clutter to a minimum.

I've been using their Earthmate for years (serial port) and just got the LT-20 USB version with Street Atlas USA 2007 and am happy with it . Bundle is $99.95.

Being USB, I have no battery issues. I love the VR capability. Speak. "where am I?", for example.
