WL3 installation messed up Win Home Server

Just installed WL3 on my Windows Home Server (HP MediaSmart). Everything went fine thru installation which then shut down the server Console as intended. Next step is to reopen the Windows Home Server Console.....which did not work. Now my server Console will not open up. After I put in my password, it just grinds away and after several minutes the log on screen changes to a blank blue screen.

I cannot do the WL3 setup nor can I uninstall it without opening the console so I am stuck plus I can no longer access anything else in my server.

What happened? How to fix?

Update...I think I got it working. I manually rebooted my server and then tried to log back in. Still had some problems but it finally generated some error messages which indicated a communication problem with some of the new HAI files. However, it finally did open up the console at which time I was able to load my WL3 config settings. After setting were loaded, it appears to be working now including the WL3 add-in.
After looking at the factory settings that showed up on the initial WL3 page, it had bad info for IP addresses and key codes. I suspect the server tried to use these numbers to communicate and choked which led to the error messages.
