AC5000 connecting to M1KAM issues

I am trying to install a Virdi ac5000 Bimoetric Reader into a Ness M1 gold Single Door Module (ELK-M1KAM). i am using the wiegand outputs on the back of the AC5000 connecting into the M1KAM.
 
i have enabled 26bit wiegand on the bio reader but everytime i scan my finger no output fires through on the relay.
 
i am a NEWBIE here still studying my course for the moment so if you can help me that would be very appreciated, Thanks
