Anyone use Android trackers like airtags?

Apple Airtags are popular but they require apple products and I am an Android user. There are a number of Android trackers that are similar. Anyone have them that can share their thoughts and feedback?

I was given a package of BT style trackers as a gift years ago. They were the ones that looked like a large button cell.

Unfortunately these are a failure of design, depending on BT connections. They depend on a connection within a few feet of a person, with a cell phone, with BT enabled, running the same tracking brand app for how many seconds before a random BT connection takes?

I placed two of them inside my wife's purse before she flew out of Toronto Aeroport and exited from Saskatoon Airport, and then returned a week later. Not one app ever picked either one up despite contact with thousands of people on two occasions.
