Can an ELK-P412(K) be moved into a std. can?

The grey enclosure picture is a very old one.

All the components and enclosure are listed. Just because a sticker is not applied does not mean the component or assembly is not listed by the manufacturer and UL. The document you posted the link to indicates the supply you are referencing is UL listed, however the enclosure and distribution board, in addition to the cord assembly is also listed individually and as a complete assembly.

Once you remove the components and modify them for installation into another enclosure, they're not listed as an assembly....leave them in the OEM can they're still listed. There's a reason why they sell the components assembled in an enclosure and not piecemeal and it's nothing to do with economics.

I would suggest, if people are concerned, they look up the UL listing at the above link for the power supply, as well as try to look up a listing for the Elk-P412K on the same website  Then make their own judgement as to whether it is ok to move the components into another can.  And not take my or anyone else's word for what the listings do and do not say or apply to.
