Haiku Can Haiku Helper take requests?

Sorry, I didn't quite know how to structure the title on this one.

I am experimenting with an IOS based configurable remote for my home theater. The software allows me to send IP based requests to servers looking for them. For example, I can send requests to my Denon form the remote and receive the responses and portray the status of the Denon graphically.

Can a similar process be created with Haiku Helper that I have running on a MAC Mini?

So you want to query HaikuHelper for details and/or send commands to HaikuHelper from another app via an HTTP request?

That's what HaikuHelper is designed for ;-) Yes, it can be done easily.
