DS2423 rain gauge question

Eric,
Got the new Ds2423 board for my rain gauge.

I forgot to write down the wire hookup for the reed switch.

Do you short the B or A terminals to ground to get a count or do you send the the input high to get a count.

Where does the reed switch wire go? :blink:

Just look schematic for dual counter and You will know what to do :blink:

And then check if I am correct ... :D ...

You need to connect counter port and +5V , and dont connect +5V connector to other part of network or you will drain a battery.

When we put together the Rain Gauge it is hooked up as follows:
The reed switch goes between B and +5v
The cable coming into the Rain Gauge has a copper and a silver wire. The copper goes to DQ and the silver goes to GND.

Let me know if that helped.
