Ebay OmniPro ii Board

I just received my OmniPro ii board.
 
The selling included some cables, a UPB Powerline Interface Mod (36A00-1), A 2 way voice module (10a11), and two RJ31X jacks.  I paid $790 for the lot but...
 
I think the board is missing the firmware chips.
 
Do I just purchase two 20A04-2UPG and install before powering on?

I think your board is fine.  Most of the pics you find on the web show the earlier versions with the socketed chips, but newer revisions have surface mount chips there.  Have you fired it up to test it out.

I just heard back from the seller.
 
No no no, the two banks are for expansion if HAI chooses to explore
that in the future. You should only have two chips.

I have not fired it up yet. 
This was my first purchase.  My PC Access should be arriving in the next few days.  I also still need a power supply and some test contacts to play with.
