Elk LCD Touchscreen integration

I have an Elk M1G (w/ M1EXP) and would like to control it with a 17" lcd touchscreen that I also have. As far as I can tell, ElkRM software will allow me to accomplish this. I have a few small HTPC's that I can choose from to use for the interface, and can install whatever OS is required. I would also have IP camera viewing available on the touchscreen.

Ideally one interface for everything would be best vs switching running applications (ie from ElkRM to the cam software).

Any suggestions that would make for solid integration?

Welcome to CT!

I would take a look at Homeseer, CQC and Elve. You can design your own interface, which will run on a PC, so you can do all of that and more. I personally use Homeseer with a 12" PC based touch screen, and it works great (interfaces cameras via CCTV DVR and IP cams directly without any trouble).
