Hi all,
I setup my ELK on the bench about 1.5 months ago. Then my house got delayed and i boxed it up.
Now that i plugged it back in the keypads are not wanting to communicate (Lost Comm) but they do show the ELK serial and have their lights on.
The ELK status light on the main control is flashing about 1hz and i can't find where in the manual what that means.
After i power on i hear the relays click like normal, then the speaker says input expander 2 and 3 missing and some random window violated. I didn't think i had a input expanded 3.
I am also having trouble connecting to the unit via serial. Although i have 5 serial ports on my PC i don't recall which one is COMM3, but i've tried them all and it says 'Connecting - Detecting Serial Port Setting' for all then after a while it says 'System did not respond'.
I know which keypay is Keypad 1, i unplugger everything else from the DBH and am positive i have the DBH hooked up correctly.
Any suggestions?
