I'm connecting my ELK ZWave M1XZW interface via a Cat 5 cable to the data hub. I assume that the Cat 5 wire connections are the same as for the keypad:
+12 - Brown
"A" - Orange and Green
"B" - White/Orange and White/Green
"Neg" - White/Brown
You need to make sure the +12V, Neg, Data A, and Data B on the M1 goes to +12V, Neg, Data A, and Data B on the M1XZW Zwave interface. It will be the same wire hookup as going to the Keypad.
I connected the Cat 5 cable the same as the keypad. ZWave is now up and running. Using the data hub and Cat 5 cable has made these connections very easy - I am so happy I took the advice from this forum. Positioning the wires for crimping the RJ45 is the hardest part - and that is really not a big deal.
