Elkrp software update

I'm putting off the xep for now and trying to update the RP software. I've been running ver 1.6. I can't download ver 2 on the current computer that I'm using to connect to the control for various reasons. I have a new computer that has ver2 loaded. Is there an easy way to get my current settings from the old ver to the new version and computer? I've tried the export import options but I got a bunch of errors. I imported the elkaccts file.

I'm pretty sure you can just save the file in the original rp software then open it in rp2. When I installed rp2 I was able to open the old file without any export/import. I do believe it gave me a message about having been last opened in the old version and I think I had to click an OK of some sort.
