So if I am looking to add just 3-4 sensors as everything else is wired, what would be the benefits with going with the full wireless receiver vs either a few 2 channel quickbridges or the 8 channel quick bridge? The quick bridges seem capable and are less than half the cost. I have plenty of zones available to utilize quick bridges as needed.

Just want to make sure I am not missing anything. Thanks!

I've used both. If you think you will just have 3-4 sensors, then the Quickbridge is cheaper and it works fine. I'd get the 8-channel, not the two channel.

The HAI GE receiver is better if you have more sensors. In addition, the receiver passes along much more info, like if a battery is low. With the Quickbridge, when a battery is low a light turns on and another set of contacts changes if you monitor them. On the HAI receiver, the panel tells you the battery is low for zone X.

Also, make sure if you buy a Quickbridge, especially on e-Bay, be aware there is an OLD 8-channel model and a newer model. You DON'T want the old model.
