HAI and access control via Zigbee locks

Some of the recent Zigbee lock posts prompted me to go back and complete the setup of my Kwikset Zigbee lock to my HAI panel.
Until now, I was just using the lock in stand alone mode.

I've enrolled the lock with the ZIM and configured the lock as a Zigbee type under Access Control as Reader1 and can successfully open, close and read the state of the lock back - so far so good.
I have my user codes configured to allow control of Reader1 and if using Haiku I can change the state, enter a valid code and the lock state changes.

Is it possible to use the HAI user codes to unlock the unit from the keypad on the lock itself? The only codes that work from the lock keypad itself are the two initial ones I configured by pressing the program button and entering directly.
The lock documentation suggests that codes should be added and can only be removed from the System Controller (which I assume is the HAI panel/PC Access).
Beyond that, I can't seem to find any documentation at all.

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, if you dig in, the Kwikset documentation claims that 30 user codes are supported with the Zigbee or Z-Wave versions, but nothing tells you how to do it.

Hmm. I'm not sure I'd be holding my breath waiting for that one to work.

That is because none exists.

So how did you configure your Zigbee lock as a Reader? On PC Access under access control, I see "Zigbee Lock" "Z-Wave Lock" or "HAI Reader" and HAI Reader requires what looks like a 16 character address (IP6 maybe). A Zigbee address is 4 digit alpha-numeric address.

When I say "reader", I just mean it's configured in the location "Reader1" under Access Control.
I paired the lock to the ZIM via PC Access, so it auto generated the address.

So are you suggesting that there is no way to have the user codes configured in the Omni being able to unlock the lock from the keypad?
You're definitely right about the poor (read: none) documentation. That's actually why I didn't get around to hooking it in properly as I couldn't get it to pair until I read a post on this forum a couple of months ago about the 9x delist 4x enroll process.
