HAI Controller Firmware 3.2d Released

HAI has released firmware version 3.2d for its Omni and Lumina family controllers. Version 3.2d is a maintenance release that addresses the following issues:

1. Added additional area properties to Omni-Link 2. This enables chiming and quick arm features on OmniTouch 5.7e and 10p touchscreens.

2. Modified access control to always unlock the door when a valid card is presented even if we think the door is already unlocked.

3. Fixed problem processing "OR" statements in complex programs if any but the last "AND" statement in a previous "AND" block was false.

4. Fixed problem sending Omni-Link 2 notifications for auxiliary setpoint changes and alarm cancels.

5. Modified to support embedded quotation marks in strings from NuVo audio systems.

6. Modified to log zone trip if zone not ready when armed with auto bypass disabled.

7. Modified to prevent delayed beep commands on consoles and touchscreens when they are not at the top level display.

8. Fixed problem with extended range temperature sensors reporting 0 degF.

PC Access version 3.2.0.543 includes the 3.2d firmware update for flash-updatable Omni IIe, OmniPro II, Lumina, and Lumina Pro controllers. EPROM chip updates are available for these controllers and also for Omni LT and Omni controllers.

How can I tell if my Lumina controller supports flash firmware updates? Dealer access seems to show "Update Firmware" as grayed out :lol: If its not flashable, where can I get the latest chip? Thanks!

The easiest way to tell if your controller is to check the number of serial port connectors at the top of the controller board. Flash upgradeable boards have connectors for five built-in ports. Chip upgradeable boards only have connectors for three built-in serial ports. You may obtain the latest chip upgrade from easycart.net/HAI.
