Lost my beeping

Hi all,

My arming beeps, disarm warning, peremiter beeps, and exit beeps have all stopped.. beeping. The system arms and the console beeps when I touch the keys... and everything is set to on in PC Access:

Entry Delay 30
Exit Delay 60
Audible Exit Delay Yes
Entry Chime Yes
Perimeter Chime Yes


Any ideas?

What type of controller do you have?

What version firmware do you have in the controller?

Did you check your console setup to make sure you did not mistakenly turn off the sounder? This information can be found in the controller installation manual under Console Check Out.

If you press 0-1 on an LCD push-button console, do the beeps return?

We will have a demo system setup within an hour or two to do some tesing but it sounds like one of the following:

A programming line disabled the consold beeps

or

Console beeps were diabled from within PC Access

Check for those two and see if either one is the case.

It looks like at some point someone turned the sounder off at the console. I thought I had gone through the instructions but I totally missed this particular possibility. Thank you!
