The M1G is connected to the Network adapter with the supplied Ribbin RS-232 cable. Right now the Network addon is in the can with the rest of the Electronics that are there M1G, HAI Cellular Backup, Plus all the Addon boards. With all the electrical stuff in that Cabinet is the Ribbon Cable getting interfarence from all that is in there. When I connect with my iphone to my M1G I am getting some things not getting propper info. Should I change the RS-232 Cable to one that is Sheilded?

The short ribbon cable is unlikely to be the source of your problem.

what happens when you connect to it from a regular web browser? and what info is not propper? more details please... I would not expect to see any data if you were getting interference, not messed up data
In ek on my iPhone the area detail doesn't get updated when there is a change for say armed to disarmed and such even when I make changes from the iPhone. That is one example
