Haiku need help with proximity detection

when you go into the app settings and turn on the proximity dectection, there is a location button that you can click on and it will pull up a map that looks just like any google map, then it has a big blue circle that you can increase or decrease the size of the area you want it to "sense" you in, i have mine set on about a 2-3 mile area with my home being the center of it. now i have it set that wide because it isn't an exact science so it gives the app enough time to recognize that i am in the "zone". it works flawlessly on my phone, just wish it worked that way on my wife's. but who knows, hopefully it will just start working. LOL

I know this is an old post but I am having a very basic issue with the Proximity function. I turned on Proximity Detection but when I try to set up a flags for my iPhone the flag selection screen says "No matching objects can be found. Ensure you've connected to this controller previously."

I am connected to my conroller and my lights and security system work fine. Location services are on for Haiku. I also have Haiku Helper running, if that matters. I know its a user setting somewhere...but I can't find it.

Make sure that you have a defined a flag (and given it a short name) via PC Access, for use with this feature.

That did it, thanks lupinglade! It's always something simple...

Is there any reference material out there that I haven't found yet? Seems like most of the basic stuff is trial and error.
