Hello,
I am looking for help connecting/talking to the new Hobby Boards 4-port Master Hub via RJ45 Ethernet connector.
I am trying the connect using owfs. (with weewx weather station)
I can connect to USB port using the command below, and everything seems to work but need a long distance solution.
sudo owfs --masterhub=/dev/ttyACM0 -m /mnt/1wire
The /dev/ttyACM0 is a USB over serial device on the master hub, I can also connect to it with a terminal program.
picocom /dev/ttyACM0
With the above program I issue the help command and see all the available commands.
I am using Ubuntu v14.04 and owfs v3.1p1
My problem is I don't have server near (nor do want to add or move my current server) were I need to use the hub, and already have a Ethernet network connection and power at the site.
Can anyone give me an example of using the Ethernet connection with owfs or any other software.
Thank you
