Noob needs help with GE Safeair 250 CO2 detector -- HAI panel

I need to finish up wiring my HAI Omni IIe panel or I am going to the dog pound, and I've hit a stumbling block with this CO2 detector. The device literature describes the detector as 4-wire device with internal sounder that "easily interfaces with any Listed intrusion or fire alarm system by means of its 150mA output relay, which may be connected to the auxiliary input on the control panel." Can someone give me plain and simple instructions for wiring this device in conjunction with an HAI Omni IIe. I know from the forums that some of you are using this detector.....but I'm unclear how to wire it, and the terminology used in the device literature is mostly foreign to me.

I'd like to know firstly how to wire the device, and secondly what needs to be accomplished on the programming side to configure the detector.

This install is unchartered territory for me--feel free to speak to me like I'm a five year old child.

Yes, sorry, CO detector. Can I use the internal sounder or will that be defeated?
