OmniLT Voice Message

I've got an OmniLT with firmware 2.13A and am using Dealer PC Access version 3. I made a program to call phone number 1 when the AC power is off and voice a message. When the power goes out the event fires and I get a call but it does not announce the message. There is just silence. Any ideas why?

The OmniLT is probably waiting to hear "hello" or some other speech before it begins talking. It won't start talking until it thinks someone has answered.

I had this same question a few months ago. I just wanted to add that, especially with my cell phone, I have to be sure to point the little mic hole towards my mouth and even say HELLO a bit louder than I normally would. It could just be my cell...
