Panic Button for ELK M1G

I'm ready to install the M1G and have a keypad question. My old keypad (Napco RP854) has 2 white wires connected to a panic button in the bedroom (just an unlite doorbell button). Can I connect the 2 white wires from the doorbell button to the ELK KP2 brown and blue wires? Assuming I can't can someone tell me how I would connect these 2 white wires? Run them to the control panel and connect them to a zone??

No, you connect them to the blue and black wires to turn your push button into a panic zone. If this is the first or only keypad in your system, the blue and black wires are zone 193.
