I am sorry if i am in the wrong forum.  Not a home automation guy. Just a homeowner looking for help.  My PSC05 died and i have no control of my X10's.  The PSC05 is discontinued and i have not been able to find anyone that can help with an alternative power option.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
tony

You can still find PSC05s (or TW523s) on eBay.

Another (better in my opinion) alternative is Jeff Volpe's XTB-523.  It's available assembled or in kit form if you're handy with a soldering iron.

Welcome to the Cocoontech forum Tony.

Here used an HAI TW523 with my original Leviton HAI OmniPro 2 panel.

Over the years added Jeff Volpe's original XTB which worked well.

Last few years have updated the TW523 / XTB combo to Volpe's XTB IIR dual phased TW-523.

I second the XTB-523 by JV Digital Engineering.
Their devices are well engineered and the XTB-523 has improvements the original TW523 or PSC05 never had,

I suppose it depends on what kind of changes you're willing/ready to make.  If you're not unhappy with how your current setup is functioning it would seem like replacing the PSC05 with a used one would probably be the least painful/expensive.  Otherwise you're headed down the road of making a lot of potential changes through purchasing new devices and setting them up.

So what're you controlling now and what are you willing to change and/or eventually spend?
