Russound IR Codes

I have the baby 4 zone 4 source Russound system and would like to control it via IR commands. It looks like I can do everything I need except control Zones! I downloaded the IR command list from Russound and see that there doesn't appear to be a way to control zones (power on/off/ volume).

It appears that the system determines which zone to apply power/volume commands is by looking at which keypad got the IR... That works fine fore people but not automation. I have a straight shot at at two keypads that are in close proximity to each other but otherwise I'm stuck. I could do RS232 but I'd rather not. Does anybody know if there are IR codes for the CAM4.4 that can control by zone?

I'm not familiar with the CAM4.4... is it the CAS44 that you have?

You're correct that there aren't any IR commands for zone power and volume, but if it's a CAS44 that you have there are full serial contol commands.

Not sure what you're using as a controller, but if you have something that can send RS-232 instead of serial you should be in good shape. There is a serial protocol document on Russounds website.
