Sonos Integration

Based on responses to a topic I posted in the security forum, I am considering replacing my Napco security system with an OmniPro II. If I go this route, I will likely use the OmniPro as my overall controller instead of a HomeSeer device. From what I've read, the OmniPro will play nicely with my other components including my HVAC, my Lutron RadioRa 2 lighting, and even my Jandy pool stuff. However, I haven't read anything that tells me whether or not it will interface/integrate with my Sonos music system. I'm not sure that's a deal-killer, but I'm not changing my Sonos and I do know that HomeSeer has a Sonos plug-in. Any thoughts?

I have the same question about Sonos music system and integration with an OmniPro II.

Also, if I was to add the HAI WL3 for Windows Home Server to my home server would this help with the integration with Sonos?

I think this integration would make sense given the penetration of Sonos into the marketplace.

Sonos has resisted helping 3rd party support get going - they don't want to degrade the whole "Sonos Experience".

There appears to be some "unsupported" software and information that "may" quench your needs for the perfect HA setup.

I'm not sure it any of those utilities will help but it's worth a look.

Unfortunately, I don't think any of these work with HAI. Some of the principles may be the same, but nothing specific.

I agree those solutions will not help with HAI directly. However, what if you have HAI WL3 for Windows Home Server would this help with the integration with Sonos?

Does HAI have a trial version of WL3 that you can download for evalutaion?
I would like to evaluate this product to see it's functionality.
