I am been trying to decide what is the best route to take in implementing video recording for my existing cameras and also have the capability to view the video on my HAI touchscreens, I-Pads and I-Phones. Below is the hardware I have. I orginally was planning on using HAI WL3 on a server but the software is not compatiable with the lastest version of Windows Home Server and did not want to step back. I am not opposed to installing a dedicated server just want a fairly simple system to record video and view video remotely. I have two homes that each have an Omnipro installed that would like to integrate. The vacation home has cameras with built-in memory cards so these woudl just get down loaded in some fashion and the server would reside at House #1.
House #1
Qty 2 - Axis IP Cameras (no onboard storage)
Qty 1 - HAI OmniProII
Qty 2 - HAI 5.7e interface
House #2
Qty 2 - Axis IP Cameras (with onboard memory cards)
Qty 1 - HAI OmniProII
Qty 1 - HAI 5.7e interface
If anyone has experience with this type setup would appreciate any feedback that you are willing to share.
Thanks
