Vista 20p + Wireless sensors

I'm buying a Honeywell Vista 20p control panel but want all wireless sensors with one wireless keypad (6160RF) and one hard wired to the control panel (6160)

I was told by one rep that I would need the 5883H Wireless Transceiver to support this, while another rep told me having the 6160RF would be enough.  However, unless I hardwire the 6160RF to the control panel, I don't know how it would communicate with the control panel.

Can someone please confirm?

Thanks!
Scott

Yes you need one RF transceiver hardwired to the panel.  Whether that is a keypad with built in transceiver is up to you.  Consider the RF coverage based on the mounting location of your various options.  If you want to install an additional keypad that is not wired to the panel get a 5828.

So either 6160+5883H+5828 or 6160RF+5828.

The 6160RF is equivalent to a 5883. Personally, I'd recommend not getting a 6160RF because of the modular and service factors, but that is me. Only one is needed for bidirectional functionality on the system.
