Wireless intercom or wired intercom help.

I am looking for an intercom system. It can be a wireless, or wired. It does not really matter. Wireless would be preferred but wired would work. It will be for a quadriplegic so it will have to be in an on all the time mode. This one was one we were looking at but seems to be discontinued.

A quick google search indicates that you can still buy them from some retailers. Ambient Weather is highly regarded too, so I'd feel very comfortable buying from them. The others might be as well, but I don't recognize all the names. I don't think you'll find anything else that will work like that for the price. It actually seems pretty reasonable. I guess the only questions would be how far do they really reach and would they work in your situation?

EDIT - OK it looks like actual stock is gone from several of the store like Ambient Weather and the Twister Group. Perhaps that is what you had already found out. Sorry to get your hopes up. Unfortunately I don't have any good suggestions for alternatives.

I have 4 of the Reporter units and have been very pleased with them. Shame they are discontinued - they were even MADE IN THE USA

It does not have to be a wireless intercom either. Anything that will work with an always on but the other end must be able to answer back.
