The best work-around is to let her get on with her gadget loving life(for my wife that is cooking and shopping...)!


BTW-I'm in Ontario so we don't have that store as far as I can tell...I'm sure I will find these rods somewhere...

Depends on the branch, they usually have a non electrician account that they will sell to the end user on that has a little higher markup then normal.

Use google maps to search for 'electrical supply', and call.

I purchased a "flexi-bit" from Home Depot, 6', and landed a hole in the wrong spot. Just be very careful when drilling as the bit likes to wonder freely once thru the first object.

I've thought about buying one of those flexible snake cameras. Maybe if the price drops to ~$100; currently the cheapest are ~$180.
