Ademco Vista-21iP Panel

I'm considering purchasing a Honeywell Ademco Vista-21iP security panel because of its internet accessibility and the reviews appear to be respectable. However I speaking with a local alarm company they said this model is having problems and is difficult to install and maintain.  They suggest going with the Vista-20p instead.  Has anyone else have an opinion on the 21iP?

I've sold and serviced many 21iPs with no issues. I'd recommend that over a 20P if you want IP alarm monitoring as it has a built in Ethernet communicator instead of needing a separate internet communicator.

We have installed dozens of 21iP with no issues. Internet monitoring a snap when set up properly. Internet Accessibility is achieved with Total Connect 2.0 which is a added cost up and above monitoring.
