Basic intercom function with ELK M1G?

I have a remote gate that I can trigger from my three ELK Keypads using one of the Function buttons.  But I want to add the ability to hear someone at the gate and have a 2-way communication with them.  Is that possible from an ELK keypad using a speaker/microphone behind the keypad?  I looked at the M1TWA but could not tell if that will do what I want.

The M1TWA and M1TWI allow someone to remotely communicate via a POTS telephone line.  Unfortunately, they don't provide any other two-way communication path that would let you do an intercom function.

I looked at this for a door intercom and came up short unless I wanted to use the phone interface as one end (which is still not its intended use).  Seems like a function like this would be something the M1 would support.  But then again Humidity seems like a function the M1 would support and still doesn't.

I think the only way to do it would be to have the M1 control relays that would engage an external intercom with the speaker and mic behind the keypad.

Just a side note here that all of the Grand stream OS'd IP cameras that I utilize have built in SIP and have had this stuff since the get go a few years back.  Their NVR software now has evolved over to their NVR firmware on couple of models.  Here also utilize the Grandstream encoder / decoder (which incorporates same said features).

Yeah, I just googled Viking and that is probably the best route.  Looks like the c-2000b would be the right core module, along with a gate phone and a front door phone.  Only downside is lack of integration with the ELK.  But I guess that can be done with some creativity.

Thanks for the lead on Viking!
