Built a new House

Hello,
I want to build a new House next spring and I do all electrical work by myself.
The normal House electronic is no problem, but on my new House I will have a Home control system.
But I am a dummy on home control system, I hope someone can go over my list and give me some help.
I will start with a Homeseer controller.
I don’t know which protocol will work for me, I build that House all by myself and I can put in every wire that I need.

What I need:
Control all lights
Control Heat and Cooling
Control my Audio sound system, I need two three media players.
Control my Security system with 4 camera’s
Control lawn sprinkler.

Or where can I find information from scratch to finish.

Soory for my bad English, I am a German guy but I live in Canada.

Welcome!

If you browse the forums, you'll see lots of information from people that have gone through the same thing. There's also a "Wiring your home 101" guide to help you know what wires are best to have at each location.

In a lot of ways, if you're already set on Homeseer, that helps a lot. Look at what they support and figure out which option you like the best - like lighting, whole house audio, etc.

Here's some short answers:
Lights: We can't tell you specifically which controllers or switches to buy, but if you read up on the options you should be able to figure out which ones you like. You can even order starter kits of a few of them to help get a feel for them.
HVAC: The hardwired ones are HAI OmniStat and AprilAire. RCS *was* a popular one but it seems like they're working their way out of those. HAI OmniStat2 is my reigning favorite.
Audio: Too hard - there's a hundred ways to accomplish this - but a nicely integrated one could be the HAI HiFi2 or Russound or Nuvo or others.
Security: Either an HAI or Elk if you want full-featured; or see if HomeSeer supports any of the simpler ones as well and check them out.
Cameras: Cameras will be standalone from security - For the most part, integration will consist of being able to use the camera feeds on your homeseer screens, so see what's compatible.
Sprinklers: Sprinklers can be controlled through a flavor of the Rain8 or through relays off your security panel or you can brew your own. I run mine through my Elk M1G.

Works the Elk with an Homeseer Controller ?
Camera - Zmodo PKD-DK4216-500GB, can they work together with Homeseer ?
Sprinkler - Rain 8

I have here a logitech Harmony one, can i use them with Homeseer ?
