I'm thinking that it's possible to use the TXB16 with Serial Bridge if I hook the cable that normally goes to TW interface module to a serial port. Any thoughts?
The TW-523 interface is nothing close to a serial interface. It is a TTL level interface with digital on/off signals to control (or detect) the presence of the 120 kHz carrier and the zero crossing signal on the powerline.
Looks like the RCS motherboard has the traces for the serial port, but not the connectors. I will have to contact RCS and see if the serial port works or if I firmware change is possible.

That would be interesting if so, as the X-10 models are cheaper and more often available on e-bay. For that reason, I gotta think either plain no, or RCS won't be very forthcoming with that information. Keep us posted.
